Rajya Sabha passed four bills

On this day, the bill was passed by voice vote in the Rajya Sabha. A few opposition MPs proposed an amendment but it was rejected. Responding to a question, Union Minister

 Jitendra Singh said in the Rajya Sabha, "Youth cannot be sacrificed in the hands of a few people. We have left eligible job seekers and students out of the ambit of this law. As 

 result, there is no question of harassing young people in the new law. Action will be taken against those who are playing with their fate and the fate of the country.
